My Story
For more then 20 years I have been honing my skills as a Graphic Designer, working for various agencies and communication companies. Early on I learned the art of evolving with changing technologies, from cd-rom and motion graphics to flash and web design. Throughout my career I have always been a part of the ever-merging interactive media and graphic design worlds.
From 1992-2002 I worked in various roles from Graphic Designer to Multimedia Manager at BGM Imaging and Kuhn Technology Marketing. In 2002 I became a freelance web and graphic designer and Degroot Design was born. I design brands and websites simultaneously for my clients. Most of my websites are built in WordPress Content Management System which. WordPresss powers more than 28% of the web.
Some of my interests include digital photography, reading, sailing, movies and cooking. I am an active member of the Long Branch community, in south Etobicoke.
