The Project

Stewards Canada are The existing website was outdated in it’s design as well as it’s back-end programming and it was not responsive. One of the biggest challenges was sorting large chunks of text on a single page, as in the resources and “Our Team” pages. The site also needed a password protected area that housed information that only members could access.

Before working on any design, I started reorganizing the structure and flow of the site so that it was more streamlined. It took many iterations, revisions and sorting, to reach the final wireframe. I also created toggle buttons to access deeper threads of information as needed in the “Resources” and “Our Team” pages. The site was built using WordPress, which comes with the functionality to password protect a section of the main menu, which I utilized.
